Texting With Boomers

Texting and relationships.  Personally, I love it. I’m not saying it should replace other forms of communication, but I definitely feel it enhances ones options.  Our kids are averaging jaw-dropping numbers of daily texts.  They’re maintaining long distance relationships and breaking up with each other via text messaging.  Could we have dreamed of such a thing?  Granted, Boomers invented text messaging…remember passing notes in study hall?  There you go! The Return of the Pogo Stick, A Baby Boomer Favorite

Retro Toys? I can’t say that I excelled in many athletic endeavors, however in the late 50′s I was pretty good at Pogo-ing if I do say so myself. Next Avenue, PBS’s new website for Baby Boomers, is touted as a destination  ”where grown-ups keep growing,” PBS’ first venture to begin on the Internet rather than broadcast TV, was conceived and developed at Twin Cities Public Television (TPT) in St. Paul, Minnesota.
